Board Meetings
All parents are invited to attend our monthly board meetings. The Wildwood Playschool board is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends, have a more active role in your child’s first school experience, as well as have the opportunity to partake in priority registration for next year. For location, time and more information please contact president@wildwoodplayschool.ca
Playdough Recipe
- 4 1/2 cups water
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 2 cups salt
- 4 cups flour
- 8 teaspoons cream of tartar
- Food colouring
Add food colouring to the water. Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan until smooth on medium heat. Continue to cook and stir on a low heat until it forms a ball. Knead for 5 minutes on the counter. Let cool and then store in a large Ziploc bag or ice cream bucket.
Wildwood Playschool is Environmentally Conscious
We have a number of routines at Wildwood that support the Reduce/Reuse/Recycle theme.
We reuse fruit cups, paper towel rolls, egg cartons, plastic, yogurt containers, cardboard and many other collectables. We are reducing our need for some craft materials with this reusing.
Our efforts in reusing are exemplary. We also collect composting in the classroom to collect fruit and vegetable snack bits. This is all soooo important!! And we should be proud of our efforts!!
