Playschool Important Dates
January 30, 5:00pm – Online Registration (for current/past board members)
February 1, 5:00pm – Online Registration (for returning families)
February 6, 9:00am – Online General Registration
February 13, 9:00am – Registration fee, and June deposit for general registration DUE.
July 15, 2026, 11:59pm – Debit Pre-Authorization (PAD) form and Police Information Check deadline. Failure
to submit by this date may result in the forfeiture of your child’s place at the playschool.
September 1, 11:59pm – Administrative & Management Fees due.
Newsletter and Calendar
As a parent-run playschoool, many of our communications are supported by wonderful parent volunteers. Our Classroom Coordinator manages our volunteer calendar, and our Newsletter Coordinator prepares our newsletter. Theses are updated throughout the year as information becomes available. Please make sure you receive these updates and let us know if your email has changed.
Board Meetings
All parents are invited to attend our monthly board meetings. The Wildwood Playschool board is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends, have a more active role in your child’s first school experience, as well as have the opportunity to partake in priority registration for next year. Volunteers
Our community plays an important role in helping our program thrive. Parents and caregivers support the playschool in a variety of ways, including in the classroom, serving on the Board fo Directors, and lending a hand at special events and fundraisers. We also welcome grandparents, retired educators, and other community members who enjoy working with young children. Community volunteers are required to provide a current Police Information Check before volunteering in the classroom. Our volunteer Board of Director members will provide a letter for that family member to apply for a PIC.

Playdough Recipe
- 4 1/2 cups water
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 2 cups salt
- 4 cups flour
- 8 teaspoons cream of tartar
- Food colouring
Add food colouring to the water. Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan until smooth on medium heat. Continue to cook and stir on a low heat until it forms a ball. Knead for 5 minutes on the counter. Let cool and then store in a large Ziploc bag or ice cream bucket.
