HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1. Create a Wildwood Community Association account for you AND add your child to the account ($25 per family).
Step 2. Register your child through the Wildwood Community Association website.

Step 4. Complete the Wildwood Registration 2024/2025 Google Form (link will be in your registration confirmation e-mail)
Step 5. E-transfer the following:
$60 registration fee PLUS
June Deposit ($59* for the 2 day 3yr old class, $100* for the 3-day 4yr old class, $185* for the 5-day 4yr old class, $230* for After Kindergarten Care).
Please remember to include your child’s name and class in the subject heading. Please e-transfer treasurer@wildwoodplayschool.ca.

PROGRAM SUBSIDY & ALBERTA AFFORDABILITY GRANT
Wildwood Playschool families qualify for full and partial subsidies.
Affordability Grant
The Alberta Affordability Grant is a federal grant that helps licensed child care programs in Alberta reduce parent fees. The grant is part of an agreement between Alberta and the federal government to reduce the average cost of child care to $10 per day by 2026. Each child registered in our Program is awarded a $100 Alberta Affordability Grant. Therefore, the published fees displayed above have already taken into account the $100 Alberta Affordability Grant per month.
How to apply
- Applications are not required from parents
- The government applies for the funding on behalf of the program
Child Care Subsidy

Effective February 1, 2025, subsidy applications will no longer be accepted for:
- Children up to kindergarten age who are attending child care during regular school hours; and
- Children enrolled in a licensed preschool program.
All existing subsidies, including extended hours subsidy, will end for the above groups on March 31, 2025. Families currently receiving these subsidies can continue to send applications for renewal until March 31, 2025.
Starting April 1, 2025:
- Children up to kindergarten age attending licensed daycare and family day home programs during regular school hours will transition to a universal monthly fee structure. Monthly parent fees will be $326.25 per month, equivalent to $15 per day, for full-time care and $230 per month for part-time care.
- Subsidy will no longer be available for children enrolled in a licensed preschool program. Children in preschools will have a reduction of up to $100 off their preschool program’s stated monthly child care fees.

POLICE CHECKS*
Police Information Check
Each Playschool family is required to receive a Police Information Check (PIC) for at least one family member in order to volunteer in the playschool classroom. Our volunteer parent board members will provide a letter for that family member to apply for a PIC. Families can apply for a PIC online using the electronic Police Information Check (ePIC) system. Please complete your PIC as soon as possible to avoid delays in volunteering.
